Big Cat Photographic Safaris
Safari experiences while creating memories for a life time.
Big Cat Photographic Safaris : Yes there’s no doubt that the Kruger has a lot to offer and anyone can experience photographic opportunities of the big cat’s, lion and leopard and the rest of the big 5 on a self drive, but on a big cat photographic safaris with African Memory Photo Safaris in my secret Greater Kruger destination the experience is on another level. Yes after researching and working in the Kruger for over two years I have found my secret spot where I like to go for my Greater Kruger bi cat photographic safaris where you’ll have the opportunity to get closer to nature than you ever though possible. It’s about the experiences of photographing the big cat’s in private while making memories of a life time. Where the game viewer is parked in the best light and angle with the engine turned of so that one can only here nature as it unfolds in front of you. It’s a escape from the world as you know it to a place you’ve dreamed about. There will be a limited number of other game viewers, no tar roads and you will not be sitting in traffic jams every time an animal is in the near vicinity. The animals are relaxed as the public is not aloud in this area. You will be accompanied by an experienced, qualified FGASA trained field guide and we have the possibility to drive off–road which allows us to get closer to the Big Cat’s and take as much time as needed to get your best photos and even follow them on a hunt. This big cat photographic safaris experience is unique to private reserve and is not possible to experience in the Kruger National Park.
My big cat photographic safaris take’s place on a private reserve of 23 000 hectares bordering onto Kruger National Park and the famous Sabi Sands where there’s no fences and animals can roam freely. There we have the opportunity to go out before sunrise and to return to the lodge with a fire burning from drives late in the evening, using a spot light on nocturnal animals so that we can experience the best light.
The Kruger National Park is the 7th largest game reserves in Africa, but with it’s incredible diversity of animal species making it a very special and unique place to visit. It’s located in north eastern part of South Africa. The Kruger National Park is home to some 147 species of South African mammals. The Kruger is famous for the Big 5: elephants, rhino, lions, leopards and buffalo and there’s more than 500 bird species and the Approximately 200 of these are migratory birds from Eurasia and North Africa. African Memory offers photo safaris all year round from the Greater Kruger National Park to Namibia with each season bringing its own highlights. See our Tour page for more details.
